Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the studytutor.app platform. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using studytutor.app ("the platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the service.

2. AI Accuracy & Limitations

Our tutoring services are powered by Artificial Intelligence. While we strive for excellence, you acknowledge and agree that:

"AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. It should be used as a supplementary tool, not a sole source of truth."
  • The platform does not guarantee specific academic results, grades, or test scores.
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information provided by the AI tutor before using it for academic or professional purposes.

3. Academic Integrity

Studytutor is designed to support learning, not to facilitate academic dishonesty.

You agree NOT to use the platform to:

  • Cheat on exams, quizzes, or graded assignments.
  • Plagiarize AI-generated responses as your own work in violation of your school's or organization's policies.
  • Bypass the educational requirements set by your instructors or institution.

4. Billing & Cancellations

Certain parts of the service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis.

Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

Refunds

Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable.

5. Prohibited Use

You may NOT use the platform in any way that could harm, disable, overburden, or impair the service or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Reverse EngineeringScrapingBulk QueryingMalware DistributionHate Speech

Violation of these rules will result in immediate termination of your account without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the prompts and data you upload. You grant us a license to process this data solely to provide the service to you.

Our Content: The Platform code, design, and original AI algorithms are the exclusive property of Pentagon Labs Inc. and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StudyTutor.app, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.
